Nobel Prize winning RAMAN SPECTROSCOPY
Errors in compounded medications have caused hundreds of thousands of incidences of human harm and even death. It remains still one of the most underreported medical errors to date. Raman spectroscopy provides an FDA approved, quantifiable, noninvasive means of medication verification. The technology is based on capturing the molecular signature of the ingredient and comparing it with it's Raman Spectra. While Sound-alike and Look-alike drugs (SALAD), as their name implies , may look similar, they have completely different Raman Spectra. RamanRx is able to exploit these differences to identify and quantify the ingredients via light refraction without modifying the sample or even opening the container.
Our patented architecture and use of machine learning algorithms has reduced the cost of our system by a factor of ten vs industrial application products with similar performance. Our system improves with use and allows vast expansion of the existing molecular library to cater to any application, combination of ingredients, or containers.
Although the system can operate in a stand-alone mode, cloud based, or print results mode, we provide software services that allow direct integration with most EHRs via 21SFR11 guidelines.
